Well, at least it appears as if I am ... so far as appearances go.

I know, I have been horribly lax as of late. I mean, my last post was Yule. I can't really pinpoint anything specific that has taken up so much of my time that I couldn't at least keep an eye on things over here. All I can say is, "Bad Binky!"

I won't make any promises, but I do hope to get back in the habit of keeping up on things on this - the only social networking site I ever really kept up-to-date.

So anywho ... did I miss anything big?

I think it looks so cool ... glow in the dark, heat sensitive, magnetic, color changing, etc ...). Do you think its too silly?

Okay, I'm sick of my purple lights fading to pink and I'm sick of buying the cheap-ass lights that only last one year. So, I'm looking to invest in LEDs.

Starting in October, I line the porch with purple and orange, then I swap out the orange for green at the end of November.

So, where should I get the lights I'm looking for ... and any idea how much I'd need?

I finally found an article that gave the time of the decision.

State workers told to report to work

State employees are asked to show up for work today.

“State government will be open for business ... ,” according to michigan.gov, “all state employees should report for your next scheduled shift.”

State lawmakers reached a budget agreement shortly after 4 a.m. today, effectively voiding the temporary layoffs imposed on thousands of state workers across Michigan.
